Dark Room

There is a light in all

Shining bright and tall

In a dark room we shine

But everywhere else we fall

Our lights are beautiful 

It can block out any dark light

When we are together

Its not a surprise we ignite

But we burn out at night 

When the darkness takes flight

And we cover up our brightness

We cover up our light

And we fight to become the people of the night

Its not right

Why do we have to cover up or future

Why do we have to cover up our light

Because it hurts your eyes to look at us 

Or because you want to snuff out our light

I wont 

I wont cover up my light

I wont let your darkness take over my life 

And break down what we started in the dusk of light.

Its night right

So I will be a light in the Dark Room tonight.
