Dark Shadows

I’m the silence that fills the air

The one never spoken about

I’m hidden by the shadows of others

Pathetic and sad but I chose to stay

Shading my face and whole being from the harsh sun

But still I feel its effects its slow burn

I wonder sometimes why I do it

Its not my story there are people out there that have worst

But dark shadows lie.

Is it wrong to be happy when you're not okay?

Is to be sad when you could be happy?
