Do Not Forget

Guard your ears young children

Do not listen to what they say

Their vile cruel words of hatred

Are only meant to tear you down

Do not let them win this fight

You are better than their words

For they only tear down

What they can not beat

You are better than they are

But they never will admit it

Your gorgeous smile

Amazing athleticism

Perfect Grades

They want to be like you

Alas they never can

Let them throw words of hatred

Just turn the other way

Show them that you have

More grace than they

For you do not tear down

Everyone around

Even if they are better

You watch your words

And stay civil

Do not let their words

Penetrate your thoughts

You are perfect

An angel

While they are but a devil

Wishing to remove thy wings
