Dogs Feel it To

Location

Some may not know it

Because they can’t show it

Dogs feel, taste, touch, and smell

But compared to humans not as well

We hurt, as do they

They know when we are just putting on a play

They radiate in excitement when you acknowledge them

They do it in a way no other does, not even a friend

They have sat and listened to all your stories

Even the ones that you find boring

One day when they are no longer here

We may think of the memories and shed a tear

But when you look into your heart

You will realize, you never were apart
