Don't Cry

In this world,

I am happy,

Life is not perfect,

But why should it be?

The sun does shine with its bright light,

And the trees do grow, strong and tall,

Perhaps things are not always okay,

But I’m alright,

I am alive.

But then I look at you,

And I think,

What can I do?

How can help?

Why do the tears fall?

How do I stop them?

You are my light,

Greater than the sun,

You are life,

Stronger than the trees,

Yet your tears do fall,

Your heart is breaking,

What do I do?

How do I help?

In this world I am happy,

Nothing needs to change,

But then I look at you,

With the falling tears,

The sorrow that echos,

And now I know,

That there is one thing that needs to change,

And if I could,

I would make it,

So that nothing could make,

You sad again.
