don't judge me

JUST BECAUSE I'M DIFFERENT DOESN'T MEAN I'M UNMANAGEABLE, DOESN'T MEAN I WANT ATTENTION, IT JUST MEANS I'M DIFFERENT FROM THE NEXT PERSON! JUST BECAUSE I HAVE GOOD GRADES, DOESN'T MEAN I'M A NERD , DOESN'T MEAN I CANT GO OUT AND HAVE A REAL GOOD TIME WITH MY FRIENDS, IT JUST MEANS I CARE ABOUT SCHOOL. JUST BECAUSE I HANG OUT WITH A SMALL GROUP OF FRIENDS, DOESN'T MEAN I DON'T HAVE ANY FRIENDS DOESN'T MEAN I'M UNSOCIAL, IT JUST MEANS I PREFER A SMALL GROUP WITH NO DRAMA! JUST BECAUSE I HANG OUT WITH A OLDER GROUP, DOESN'T MEAN I'M FAST, DOESN'T MEAN I'M A HO, IT DOESN'T MEAN I WANT THE ATTENTION, IT JUST MEANS I'M A MORE MATURE THEN MY AGE GROUP! JUST BECAUSE I'M QUIET WHEN I FIRST MEET YOU, DOESN'T MEAN I'M WEIRD, IT DOESN'T MEAN I'M ALWAYS LIKE THIS, IT JUST MEANS THAT YOU HAVEN'T TOOK THE TIME TO GET TO KNOW THE REAL ME!

<p>Hi!</p><p>I love how fierce your voice is here--props on that! Keep that strength as you keep writing; so many poets lose their tenacity along the way because they&#39;re told it&#39;s not what&#39;s &quot;good&quot; in poetry.</p><p>I would love to see some images make this work even stronger. I want to be able to see, feel, and touch the things this speaker finds important. I can hear her, but I want to get a better sense of who she is!</p><p>Thanks for sharing your work, and happy writing :).</p><p>J</p>
