Down the Hallway

Walking down a battlefield

Barrages of names

Insults

Anything to make you feel like

The worst human to live.

But,

What do yo do about it?

Nobody really helps

Not your friends

Or your family

Not even your teachers

Who promised to be right there

If anyone called you

An ugly name.

So who do you turn to

When nobody wants to help?

When your teachers don't believe you

Because you can't show proof.

I promise you

If you don't give in

If you don't listen to their poisonous words

It will get better

You just have to try

Find someone

Anyone

Who'll listen to you

They don't have to be your friend

Or someone you know all that well

Anyone will do.

Just don't

Give

Up
