drown

do you know how many times i actually gave a fuck?

do you know how many times i was dragged through the streets?

kicked? harassed? dug holes under my bed just to get away

it was my mind playing tricks

and you just added to it.

there is so much pain behind my eyes

you can't tell because they're the color of the ocean to you

yet

im the one drowning

i've lost the ability to swim

once you told me you crave visitng the ocean since the sunsets make you feel whole

who do i believe?

me? the one drowning?

or you who sees beautiful sunsets?

one of us is lying to each other.

i've known myself forever and im drowing

so unles you somehow know better

please

release my hand

i want to

drown.
