The Echo of her Reflection
She is sitting by the mirror
Brushing her hair,
As tears fall down
Her hands tremble
When she thinks about last night.
She is sitting by the mirror
Looking for something new to see
Her tears fall one last time
Making a puddle by her feet.
She looks again and sees the world
Crumbling at her knees.
And her famous last words
Were baby please.
A kiss goodbye
Her last lullaby,
As she drowns mercilessly
In the sadness of it all.
