An Elegy For Oneself

A great man, a heroic man, Taken to early. Always laughing, never grieving, Only living from day to day. Death is natural, giving Life its meaning. Without one the other has No meaning. Always smiling, never Seething. Friends with all As wise as an owl As sly as a fox A man never foul Solemn yet, joyful With plenty to share. Always thinking, never Caring. Wondering, asking Why. Never knowing always seeking. A friend to the world, A heart of gold, beyond Death's grasp. Though gone he will remain, Forever till his memory fades.
