Eternal Silence

Death is

The eternal silence

We often say under this sky

Where the enemies are ubiquitous

Even among thugs and fools

That the dead are wrong

Oh! That’s ignorance!

That’s incompetence!

That’s complicity!

That’s bad luck!

That’s vanity!

That’s nonsense!

That’s voracity!

That’s imbecility!

That’s impunity!

That’s cowardice!

That’s wickedness!

That’s flattery!

That’s absurdity!

That’s naivety!

That’s criminality!

That’s an idiotic thing!

That’s nonsense!

That’s foolishness!

In this life

We are right or wrong

We make decisions

Sometimes vain or useless

We were born to be useful

To society, to our family

And to our dear country

Silence is the absence of life

Eternal silence is death

Regret or remorse

Causes pain and trouble

The eternal silence

Is death

We are always

In front of the material

Far from what’s essential

Far from eternal salvation.
