Fear

Fear is the youth who trembles The boy who flinches at every motion. The rush of wind that moves the branches Scraping darkened windows. Not ignoble, but necessary, Fear is as much the warrior as valor is. Without fear there is no bravery. The potential to create a craven and a hero both. The cause to tremble and cry. To give in to its blackness is defeat. Fear may deter us or drive us. It is neither good nor bad; It simply exists.
