Fear and Loathing

Crying, trying, dying inside

the lonely child waits,

for her Cinderella story,

for her perfect escape.

For the joke to be over,

and her life to begin,

all these problems cause her

to crawl in her skin.

Paint it white,

paint it black,

paint it gray,

but we can never go back.

Knock, knock, whos there?

Who is this I see?
The cold bitter face of nobody,

staring back at me.

I'd kill to be you but still i'll fake it,

color your lies pretty and bright,

shes a mess, reckless, trying to subside,

the hatred that eats her up inside.
