Why are feelings so complicated?
Love and hate - the most complicated feelings to have ever existed
How can one love and hate someone?
How can I hate that I love you?
I hate how much these feelings complicate things
What about overthinking or depression?
Depression caused by overthinking; loneliness, unwanted memories, trauma, etc
Overthinking caused by thinking excessively about things that you cannot control or have no control over
The silence that surrounds you once you're in your head
The countless number of times you zone out
The lack of interest in things that you once loved
The times you've isolated yourself just to hear different voices all in your head at once
The thoughts that you just can't get out of your head
The endless repetition of the same thoughts
Over and over again - an endless cycle.
Other emotions like happiness, joy, excitement
When last did I hear of them and when last did I experience them?
Do fake smiles and forced laughter cover that up?
Does hanging out with fake friends count for being excited?
Does sarcasm involve joy?
I don't think that's the case
Emotions and feelings... were they always so complicated, difficult, stressful?
Insecurity, hopelessness, resentment, these feelings which I am suddenly now content with
An overwhelming wave of sadness that drowns my voice and leaves me broken
Anxiety kicks in... the fear of getting used to this
I'm afraid it's too late
The sudden frustration just because you are not able to identify these emotions; these feelings
After which surprise settles in and suddenly I'm used to it.
These feelings and emotions.
