Fight

I feel so empty inside; Nobody wants me here. Sometimes I just want to run and hide to get away from all the people. These people are so cruel Always putting me down and calling me names. I feel like such a fool whenever they're around. I'm sick of all this making fun I think it's time to end. So this time I'm not going to run, I'm going to stand up for myself and defend. Defend everyone you've been cruel to, I'll stand up to you. I'll say what I know is right And be prepared to fight.

I wrote this poem awhile back after being bullied for years. I finally decided to stand up and defend myself. I was not going to let them dictate my happiness. Hopefully someone out there will read this and be inspired to stand up against bullying. We are all special and beautiful in our own way

I wrote this poem in middle school. I was always bullied and I decided that I was not going to let them ruin my life and take away my happiness. I stood up to them and eventually they backed down. Hopefully someone out there will read this and stand up for themselves also. Nobody should be bullied, we are all special and beautiful in our own way.
