Fly
Sometimes I just want to fly,
To run, jump, and play.
But sometimes I want to climb,
Climb this mountain of pain.
Sometimes I want to fly,
Fly on these broken wings.
But I can't, for I shall die,
So I just sing.
I sing about flying.
Of love, pain, and dying.
I sing for those who can't,
Those walking, who look like ants.
But in the end,
I'm the one loving.
I'm the one in pain.
I'm the one dying.
Yet I am also the one flying.
The one singing.
The one crying.
The one bell left ringing,
In this world of pain.
