I talked with Mr. Parrot
Indeed Indeed I did
He talked of his voyge
To see his uncle Sid
His uncle told him of the day
He saw the submarines dancing out in the bay
I questioned his statement
But he insisted it's true
And then I asked my self a question
Why am I talking to you?
I sat down in the corner
Playing with the idea in my head
And then I realized I was talking
To a parrot that was dead
So now you know what can happen when you have this much free time
You might talk to an animal
That doen't know a single rhyme
