Darkness in her heart

Ashadow in her eyes

Every night she feels alone

Every night she cries

So close to everyone

Yet distance far away

She waits for things to brighten

For night to turn to day

But change never hits

The darkness just grows

The voices of the ones she loved

merely become echoes

Living on a hopeless path

With no relieving end

No one can understand

This path allows no friend

So she walks and walks searching

For the savior to her cries

To save her from the darkness

And the shadow in her eyes

But no one can see

No one even tries

So she decides to save herself

And forever close her eyes
