Freedom is Non-existent

They hear your happy, they go and find a way to make you sad.

The hear your debt-free, they go and make sure you have more bills to pay.

They hear you received social justice from the death of a loved one, they go and shoot another family member.

They hear your boss promoted you to manager, they go and lie to get you fired.

They hear your free, they incarcerate you.

They laugh because

Freedom is nonexistent.

Poetry has been my escape ever since I could remember. Every time I think of what to say or write, my throat has a seal that is broken free from strangulation. Words tend to sporadically slip out of my mouth and I have the pure enjoyment of writing them down.
