Get Over It

This poem was to express about this incident that happened at my first job. I misunderstood what my manager wanted me to do and she started to gossip about me making things even worse.

It was only an accident

A tiny misunderstanding

Did you have to talk about me?
Did you need to gossip?

It was childish
It was dumb

Nobody was hurt
Nothing was broken

You could have just brushed it off
We could have laughed about it even

But you chose to act like a child
made a bigger deal of it than it was

I didn't deserve that type of treatment
Nobody really does

So there is one thing I'd really like
Something that would be great

Please just shut your damn mouth
And just get over it
