Grief

Tonight I watched a girl defeat her PTSD by shattering the bones of the creature that killed her. Let me rephrase- I've read too much poetry that says you can't love someone's mental illness away, but grief is not depression. I can't tell you the brain chemistry of how they are not the same, but if you place your hand on my chest you will feel how full my heart is. My love no longer has any place to go and I've heard that hypertrophic cardiomyopathy can be fatal.
