The Hammering Fellow

The crackle of iron pounding against my chest

Pain throbbing

My eyes blinded by embarrassment

My ears being nailed down by taunts

A deafness I hopelessly sought for

My wounds visible on my heart

However, invisible to others

Two-faced fellows

Schadenfreude!

Why must they exist?

My life, a nightmare

Why must I attend school?

A place for my suffering

Where time travels as slowly as possible

Not only a birthplace for wisdom

Also birthplace for depression

Feel my pain

Have mercy

Why must I suffer?

Have I no hope?

If only ignorance truly were bliss
