Happy Being Me

Well, I'm sort of shy

And I think towards the sky

Usually about pi

And sometimes in rhyme.

Sometimes the way my mind works

Even shocks me.

Sometimes I say dirty things

Even when I don't mean them to be.

But I'm completely, pefectly, and incandescently

Happy to be me.

All my quirks and idiosyncrasies, well, they're fine by me.

Don't you agree?

Yes, I'm quite happy being me.

I randomly break out into song

And when no one sings along

I just stare off awkwardly

Into outer space.

Marshmallows are my kryptonite.

I still sleep with a teddy bear at night

And I'm not ashamed.

'Cause I'm completely, pefectly, and incandescently

Happy to be me.

All my quirks and idiosyncrasies, well, they're fine by me.

Don't you agree?

Yes, I'm quite happy being me.
