How They Feel

Everyday people wake up Hiding behind the smiles on their face While drinking their daily dose of emptiness Always running around looking for the light switch to their life So they can turn it on and finally see the light from their darkness They feel like they are in a one act play With life as the audience laughing at them But all they want is to feel like they belong Feel like they are loved Feel like they are needed Feel like they are And turn on that light switch to their life So they can finally see what the light looks life
