Human Deterioration

There was a time when popularity grew in an Encyclopedia

It was this new sensation, a growing fascination

Only now it's social media...

We hear vibrations rather than face-to-face conversations

We used to look up words like onomatopoeia

It was a great creation

...only now we use "lol #wikipedia"

It is a strange situation

there is no more collaboration and communication

Unfortunately,

this new technological formation is rising to human deterioration.

Poetry has been my escape ever since I could remember. Every time I think of what to say or write, my throat has a seal that is broken free from strangulation. Words tend to sporadically slip out of my mouth and I have the pure enjoyment of writing them down.
