I am
(poems go herI am Poem
By Valerie Craig
I am a piece of pork that has been poke with everyday
I am a runaway dog that people forgets about.
I am a lonely tear coming down peoples face without any friends.
I am a smiling person on the outside, but hurting in the inside.
I am my uncle’s famous pancake on Saturday mornings,
While watching and laugh at my Saturday cartoons on channel nine.
I am the sound of my uncle saying “everything will be ok.”
I am the sound of me and my brother fighting
I am a teacher that cares and knows what best for you.
I am a girl that beats on boys just because.
I am a girl that is proud of herself and
Where she came from
I am a girl that is proud of what she is doing.
I AM ME.
An independent woman
