I AM... STRONG

I am...

I am strong like a hundred man army

Words are unable to hurt me

I am not stupid

I am not retarded

This is the girl who spends hours doing her homework

This is the girl who longs to learn as quick and easy as eveyone else

But the slurs cannot hurt me, not even reach my ears

These slurs bounce off my body like bullets off Superman

I am strong like a hundred man army

I am smart

The top nine percent of her class is not retarded

She is smart and strong

I am Salma...

I am strong like a hundred man army
