I Tried to Save Her

Dear Her,

I saw Her wrists. 

I saw the scars.

I have not forgiven myself

for failing to save Her.

I do not know how to refrain from losing Her again.

Meanwhile, I am still learning how to let Her go.

I needed Her.

She needed someone too.

I let it keep going.

Maybe She never wanted anyone to save Her.

I can not help but think that I put Her through more pain making Her stay,

than allowing Her to go.
