I'm More
I’m more than just a body
Filling up a chair
I’m more than just a mark
In a book that says
”I’m here”
I’m more than just a freak
For your laughter’s fun
And more than just a girl
With a bullet and a gun
I’m an individual
Proud of who I am
But even I cannot take
Some of the things
That have been done
So one day when you come in
Look around the room
And notice that the chair’s empty
And that I, once there
Am gone
You’ll notice that the check mark
Has turned into an “A”
And all your laughter suddenly
Has faded fast away
My seat will soon be filled
And my name soon removed
And you will find a brand new target
That soon will leave you too
