I'm The Same As You

Your parents tell you you're perfect the way you are

God says I made you to a perfect point

Your friends tell you that you're so pretty

Those cuts on your body tell you other wise

Your self-esteem also tells you other wise.

So does society,

With all the images of what a beautiful person is.

Those images are complete lies!

Everyone on this earth is beautiful,

No matter what the look like, or what kind of life they live...

We are all the same.

Don't let one person's words bring you down,

Because I learned that the way are to you,

Someone will be just as bad to them later.

We are ALL human beings.
