I'm Sorry
I’m sorry.
So very sorry.
I didn’t realize that my very existence tortured you to no end.
How did you know I’m friendless, ascending the trend to comprehend how to suck at life?
I mean, how could you lie?
The Internet is the go-to spot for unfiltered knowledge.
You obviously know more about me than I know about me.
I’m sorry that I’m gay.
I’m sorry that I’m retarded.
You’re sweating because my velvety vocal vernacular makes you feel outsmarted.
I’m sorry that I’m shit,
I’m sorry for your wealth,
With the click of a mouse, you put me down to feel better about yourself.
I’m sorry I’m wide open,
I’m sorry I begged for your thought,
I smirk as my subsistence shakes and shatters you until your mind’s distraught.
I’m sorry I can’t live up to you,
I’m sorry, I’ll stop, I promise,
Thank you for your swift advice that you left me in a comment.
Your fingers can’t be faster, gliding on your keyboard like a comet
To write a snarky remark under a video that to you is only torment.
So next time you spread hate by hiding behind a name,
Just think about the lives you’ll ruin, but you know what?
Fuck it, you’ll never change.
I’ll swiftly end my life because, of course, you said it’s overdue,
And I’ll leave a note inside my pocket that credits all to you.
I’ll cheerfully change the way I am because of some acne-ridden asshole who needs to say “Work it Fatty” to a 13 year old.
And yes, my parents should swiftly listen to your misspelled malarkey and give up on me.
I pity the hell that is your life where you have to tear apart a child’s work to make your own wretched reality the slightest bit less pathetic.
Every tear making your fingers tingle.
Every scrap of a child’s self-esteem crumpled in your hand and showering to the ground like confetti.
Feels pretty good, doesn’t it?
But be careful.
Once there are no pieces left for you to tear, crumple, and stomp like a dying ember floating from the fire in your eyes, the pulsation of loneliness and cowardliness swirls back throughout your mind like a twister.
And this isn’t Kansas anymore.
It’s your Internet reality.
Enjoy.
Leave another comment.
Go ahead, I won’t bite.
I’ll try not to let the string of hatred form a noose.
Choking you up until your face goes purple and your screen goes black.
