It Only Takes Twenty Seconds

Everybody knows you, they see you around all the time. They know your face but yet they don't know you. People see who you are, but not who YOU are as a person. You break away and sit alone, only because you don't have a home. You don't have a friend or a foe. Just yourself all alone. One day you say, I'm done with this place. Next thing we know your in a grave. What happened to you? Why did you leave? This place is so full of faces, you can't see your own. There was still time, to save that life. It only takes 20 seconds to say something nice. It only takes 20 seconds to step away from that knife. So what did you do? Why didn't you stop them? Step up and take claim and take 20 seconds to change some ones day.

A lot of people don't know that suicidal people aren't wanting attention. All they want is someone to care about their situation without their advice involved. Please read my poems and comment because I would love some feedback

That you can change someone's day, but just spending 20 seconds with them.
