Judgemental
Everybody's a judge in this court called life.
A lot of people have been stabbed with the betrayal knife
Hearts have been permanently scarred by someone just joking
That guy that girl that looks lost in this world haunted by something from their childhood
Struggling to understand but when the truth hits the fan and we're holding each other's hands
Wishing we had a connection to that girl or that guy that did
Something to ruin their lives because of the lack of
of affection and pain of neglect
Hit with the cold thought of rejection because of that one mistake
Judged each and every day because of sin
Trying to repair themselves but they don't know where to begin
Then we realize that we judged too deep as they stood on
Their mountain of hope we pushed them right off the peak
Now we don’t know what to say because the words we speak hit deeper
than what we think
Circumstances can change within the blink of an eye
Don't hold your breath too long because you could lose
the battle within a release of a sigh
