Just A Girl

She was just a girl.

A girl who liked to read.

A girl without a care in the world.

She started to believe what people would say.

"You're ugly." They would say.

"You can't do it."

She started to give up.

Nothing mattered.

She was just a girl.

With too many cares in her world.

She got back up on her feet.

Proved them wrong.

"Wow." They said.

"She's amazing"
