Just So You Know
Did you know he was a momma's boy?
Did you know that she was a daddy's girl?
Did you know that he was someones big brother who walked them home from school everyday?
Did you know that she never missed her little brothers baseball games?
Did you know that he was someones nephew, the proud one with good grades?
Did you know that she sang in the church chior?
Did you know that he was going to be a lawyer
Did you know that she was going to be a great dancer?
Well, no I guess you didn't.
You didn't care that you were killing someones baby.
You didn't care that they were special to someone.
You didn't care that they were the sole reason their mother or father was still alive.
What you cared about was acknowledge their faliures and their faults.
What you cared about was calling them names for being nice to women.
What you wanted was to tear them down in every aspect of their life.
Well congratulations!
Now they're buried six feet under with no chance at having a family.
He'll never see his little sister dance in her recital.
She'll never be able to kiss her little brothers goodnight anymore.
He'll never get to tell his mother that he loves her anymore.
She'll never get to tell her dad about her day at school.
And its all because you decided to tell them they were worthless.
Just so you know.
