The Last Attempt

Hurtful words behind her back,

screaming those words that they can't take back.

And finally when she can't take it anymore,

she grabs her razor and locks her door.

Cries as she fails again,

but makes yet another suicude attempt.

And then those words begin to seem hollow,

she makes a silent prayer that she won't see tomorrow,

and as she hears the poison one last time in her ears,

she finally succeeds at what she's tried for years.
