Liberation

Dig for their hands full of scars and bruises A happy noose born from your sickly abuses You can try to reach out but you have to reach down Because now you’ll find your prey six feet under the town Hunted, found, then you pounce Endlessly, endlessly Are my flaws so important to you? A lonely creature in the shadows of the zoo Caged and afraid in a prison of acceptance Will I ever taste liberation? Search for a cure only love and death defies A sick pleasure produced by empty lies You can try to reach out but you have to reach down Because now you’ll find your prey six feet under the town Hunted, found, then you pounce Endlessly, endlessly Are my flaws so important to you? A lonely creature in the shadows of the zoo Caged and afraid in a prison of acceptance Will I ever taste liberation?
