Light
A guy has become my light.
Doesn't that sound corny? -I mean really
Doesn't that sound unrealistic? Ridiculous? A dream?
This guy has become both my light AND my dark
Does that sound better?
Is it more within the phases of life that a guy be both my gift and my burden?
my hope and my sorrow?
my left and right hand?
That guy has become my life
With the way that my mind twists in on itself and tremors when he's near, you would think so
The only thing I can think of, he makes me bubble and smile to the brim of my existence
The only thing I can THINK of, he makes me break down and die as my heart leaves with him
My guy...has become my death
Well, see, he isn't really my guy
But then he is
Slathering my body in kisses and attention and care and love and hop-
Only to turn around and embrace another girl -Her guy
Our guy?
This is where the axe of bleeding hearts comes down upon me
Leaving only a tattered half with me and a forever beating half with him...
