Lisa- Is a friend

Have you ever needed a friend?

Have you ever needed a friend?

In a new school... have you ever needed a friend?

Her name is Lisa

She didn't have to be nice to me

She didn't have to give me food

She didn't have to be my friend

She didn't.

Sometimes when I think about all she has done for me... I start to cry tears

She didn't have to love my family

She took this dirt poor child and helped get her all the way through high school

Lisa is her name

Lisa helped save my family

Lisa made sure I was on time for school

Lisa is her name

She went out of her way to make sure that my little brother never went without anything.

Lisa is her name

Lisa is getting old

Now it's time for me to take care of the teacher who took care of me

Isis is my name

Lisa didn't have to be my friend

Have you ever needed a friend?

Have you ever needed a friend?

In a new school... have you ever needed a friend?

Even teachers can become friends
