Because of so many

Who like to cause pain

Here is a list

Of those people's names

One was a friend

or so I had thought

Until they left me

Alone in the drought

I stood by their side

When their life ran thin

And they told me a secret

Only known by their kin

But when the next girl

Came along in their life

They tossed me away

And left me with strife

One was a peer

Who I knew not to trust

But yet I still did

I was drunk off of lust

They twisted my words

Played dirty, unfair

They watched all my moves

Replicated my fare

I fell for their trap

And I cried at their feet

But they never forgave me

For my tears were their treats

So I sit here now

Feeling beyond betrayed

Writing down treacheries

And a list of their names
