Look Into These Eyes

Look into these eyes,

And you will see fear.

Put your hand over this heart,

And you will know hardship.

Take my hand,

And you will feel coldness.

Look towards the past,

And you will see regret.

Listen to this wary voice,

And you will hear pain.

Hold me close,

And you will feel weakness.

Look into these eyes….
