Lost

Unable to find a way out Unable to see the key to the door In my mind I am lost in the thoughts That are unlnown to me I am lost For I know not what I feel, or what I love dearest I am lost in my body like a single steel cell Locking me in myself I am lost in a nightmare trapped within as I try to escape The thorns on the vines that grow around me are binding As I hide away in a corner, in the dark, in a deserted alley, I am alone and I am quiet. I am cold and hungry and everyday More death and destruction tears at me Tears streaming down my filthy beaten face To young to understand the pain is inevitable But old yet enough to realize my impportance is great. Everyday is another step for me Everyday is another journey I live for the adventure For it is all I have left I am alone...
