Love is Gone

lost in sorrow

drowning in tears

love is gone

everyone says

but nobody hears

love is gone

but still I hold on

to what is already gone

like a shadow

still showing

after the light has left

laughter

still ringing

after the joke

has long died

love is gone

everybody sees

but nobody believes

love is gone

but me

I'm still holding on
