Love But Not Acception 2
Two weeks pass and that door has been my door for eons
By now I've deeply divulged and invested in my door, come to understand what my door means
What it means to me and my life
To my family.
To the world.
Who knew that the simplicities of love could possess the power to tear apart both a loving family and, seemingly, the world
"I still love you. I just don't like it"
"I should have never let you be around that girl"
"I'm sure this is just a phase and you'll be back to normal"
"But I want grandchildren!"
"This is beyond wrong"
"You need to repent and pray"
"This is just the world changing you... it's not who you really are"
"It's fine baby... give them some time and everything will be okay."
Give them time.
Give them time.
Give THEM time.
And everything will be as if this never happened.
Everything will be as if you never discovered who you were always meant to be.
As if you never discovered that behind your 'hideous and disgusting' door was acceptance, warmth, and guidance from a community incessantly ridiculed
As if you never found her...and as if you never learned that you could love her.
A room full of minds ever loving but without acception
