To make you love me

To make you love me

I laugh at their jokes

I cry for you pain

To make you love me

I bury my insecurities

And force a smile on my face

To make you love me

I shy away from your cruelty

And endure your immorality

To make you love me

I scream out my aches

But only in a private place

To make you love me

I treat the true as I should you

To make you love me

To make me love me

Isn’t that the same thing?
