Making A Difference

The world is cold

I wake up to another day

No one acknowledges my soul

No one sees my pain

My pain isn't hiding

Its written all over my face

You can feel it in my writing

Because this is my happy place

If I could change us as a society

I would make sure we unite

Not to cause impropriety

But for a better world closer to the warmth, the sunrays and the light
