Message to the World

Words fucking hurt.

I don’t care if you don’t know the girl you’re talking to

I don’t care if you don’t know the boy you’re talking to.

But let me tell you something,

you don’t get to destroy someone because you’ve been hurt in other ways.

We’re trying to make the world a better place. Not flood it with tears.

Maybe the art you insult is her only way to survive.

Maybe the glasses you mock is his only way to protect himself from the darkness of the world.

Maybe the words she writes allow her to breathe again.

Maybe the worn shoes he has, are the only ones his single working mother could afford.

Maybe that teddy bear she carries around is the only thing she has left of her grandma.

7 BILLION different "MAYBES".

Words fucking hurt.

It’s about time someone says it.
