Mine

So today l sat beside myself l was hurting both body and soul l needed a touch just someone to be mine l started missing 'mine' and wished 'mine' would hold me but then there is no 'mine' so how can l miss you? It was a lonely and long cold night All demons released in me and l struggled to lay them out l wanted someone to hold me and listen and just watch me but then l have no 'mine' so how do l miss you? It was agonising and all tiring l want 'mine' but mine even has no face l miss that one who l have never known then it dawned on me like striking lightning What if 'mine' never exists What if mine only stays in my lonely dreams?
