Mirror

Sorrow is evident

Behind her

Hopeful blue eyes

Beautiful eyes

Her open book

Showing everything

If you care

Enough to read them

Sorrow, elation

Pain and hatred

All behind

Those eyes

Yet no one sees

Her tearstained cheeks

No one knows

Her sorrow

No one cares

She tries to hide

But I see

I know

What she feels inside

I care

But one thing

I never knew

Is that

Those beautiful

Blue eyes

Were mine

Just had to say, great ending. I was wondering where the mirror came in but you answered that question well. Don't stop writing :)
