The mirror is my audience

The mirror is my audience
and the very best kind
My voice could be terrible
the mirror doesn't mind

No matter how ugly
I may be
The mirror will hold no judgement
towards me

I feel no safer
than in the mirror
where all my traits beautiful and ugly
are made at their most clear

Beautiful when happy
Ugly when we’re sad
Its when we’re so depressed
we feel so ugly and so bad.

Beauty is delusion
A trick within the mind
It’s considered much more valid
than loving our own kind

So when I look into the mirror
I don’t see the face of horror
I don’t care much for that
The face of horrible judgment
isn't worth looking at.
